Baptism is one of the initiation sacraments of the Catholic Church. In baptism, we are incorporated into the Body of Christ. In Baptism, we celebrate God's love for each of us. In baptism, we are welcomed into the local parish as a new member of the Church.
Baptisms are celebrated at any of the weekend Masses. In addition there is a communal celebration of Baptism one Sunday a month at 12:30 p.m. except during Lent. Please refer to the Parish calendar for the dates.
Baptism preparation is held in the Community Room on the first Tuesday of each month, except during Lent, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Parents are expected to participate in a baptism preparation session in anticipation of your child's baptism. Godparents are encouraged, but not required, to attend.
The usual offering for a Baptism is $100 per child.
