2010-2011

Registration Form for Grades 1 through 8

Click on the Registration line above to use the form to register your children for Religious Education classes. Families in the Blessed Sacrament database who have children between age 6 and 13 will be sent the same form with class schedule, volunteer form and an information cover letter on Tuesday, August 10. If your family doesn't receive a family specific registration form shortly after August 10, we'll be happy to mail you one if you call the parish house, 508-668-4700 or you can print the form from here. If you want to register before receiving the mailing, please do.

  • Deadline for Religious Education Registration is Monday, August 30, 2010.

Registrations that are in by the deadline are more likely to receive their first choice of class day and time and, of course, not have to pay any late fee. We organize classes based on registrations in by the end of August after that the number of classes on each day is fixed and we can run out of room so please register by August 30. It helps a lot. For the last two years we have had more people request Monday classes than we have room in the school. So if at all possible consider choosing Sunday morning, Tuesday or Thursday. This year we will have more room on Mondays since we will create overflow classes in the 5:30 to 6:30pm time frame.

  •   Parent Orientation is Sunday, Sept. 19, 12:00pm and Thursday, Sept. 23, 7:30pm. in the school auditorium

Come to the session that best suits your schedule. The meeting is for parents who did not have children in the program last year or haven’t been to an orientation in the last two years.

               • We will have more room on Monday’s than in years past.

There will be an overflow session from 5:30 to 6:30pm if classes from 4 to 5pm or 7 to 8pm fill up.

              • Consider being trained and teach in the program. You’ll learn more than the kids.

The registration fee for the program is the same as the last two years. You can cut the fee in half by giving at least $500 a year to the parish, which is the expected annual adult contribution. However, if any fee is a burden to your family, please call or email me. No child will be kept from the program because of the cost.
Finally, Religious Education can only operate when enough people are willing to give their time and effort to work with the children. If your work schedule permits and you haven’t taught or been an assistant yet please give strong consideration to teaching or helping in class. Training and complete materials are part of the program. We also waive the registration fee for people who teach or assist in the classroom. Click for volunteer Form
