The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia were instrumental in the establishment and subsequent success of Blessed Sacrament School since its founding in 1966.  The Franciscan Sisters were a wonderful presence of faith and service in the school and parish until 2008, when the last of the sisters, Sr. Frances and Sr. Rosemary retired and moved to the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Francis in Assisi, PA.
