CROSS COUNTRY:

It is time again to hit the trails this fall for Cross Country!  This year we will be participating in local meets with other schools.  Practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-3:45 at the trails behind Johnson Middle School in Walpole.  Practice will include a warm up, run (1 or 2 miles depending on age and ability) and a stretch.  The meets will take place on Fridays from 4:00-5:00.  Practice starts Tuesday, September 20 and our first meet is Friday, September 23!  The meets will be on 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14 and 10/21. The season will run for 6 weeks with the final practice on Thursday, October 27.

TENNIS:

Serve up some fun this fall playing tennis with your friends and classmates while brushing up on your technique and skills.  Please bring your own tennis racket.  Tennis balls will be provided.  The clinic will run for 6 weeks Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:00 at the Walpole High School from September 24 until October 29.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to make these programs happen and for them to be a success.  Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you are interested in volunteering.  Athletics are a FUN way to fulfill your volunteer hour requirements as a part of your service to Blessed Sacrament.

Keep moving and stay healthy!
